This category is dedicated to the security of quantum computing systems themselves, rather than the use of quantum computing to break classical cryptography. Topics include:
– Control-plane and orchestration security for quantum hardware
– Scheduler and multi-tenant isolation risks in cloud QC platforms
– API, SDK, and job-submission security issues
– Side-channel risks (timing, RF/electromagnetic, thermal, etc.)
– Supply-chain and firmware security for quantum hardware and control electronics
– Physical/logical access controls, monitoring, and incident response in quantum labs and data centres
– Threat modelling and security architectures for emerging quantum platforms
