The session is split into two parts:

  1. How to Engage With and Benefit From the Quantum Security Community

    An introduction (by Marin Ivezic) to the mission and structure of the community – Slack, LinkedIn Group, Discourse, events, the weekly Digest, learning programs – and how to use these channels in a way that is genuinely useful for you and for the wider community.

  2. Quantum Readiness Updates for 2026

    A fast-paced, research-driven overview of where we stand at the start of 2026, including:

    • Latest Q-Day predictions and capability thresholds

    • Key signals from CRQC hardware progress

    • Regulatory pushes and standards alignment (NIST, ENISA, ETSI, ISO, NCSC, CISA, MAS)

    • Lessons from early PQC migration and crypto-agility projects

    • What organisations are doing right now to become quantum-resilient

    • Emerging risks in QKD, quantum sensing, and quantum-secure architectures
